FUSION INTERIORS ENVIRONMENTAL/SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

Fusion Interiors is committed to a policy of sustainability and protection of the environment.  Fusion has initiated a number of 'green' practices to preserve resources and the environment of our beautiful country.  A policy of Reduce|Reuse|Recycle pervades our organisation at all levels.

We refer you below for an outline of some of the key measures we currently undertake:

Reduce:

• We have recently deployed Hybrid Vehicles in our fleet to reduce the effects of carbon emissions
• Our workshop, office and storage facilities are close to our primary place of business - the Wellington CBD, thereby reducing travel between sites
• The Fusion Building Team is committed to maintenance of our clients' buildings, thereby extending the useful life of the buildings avoiding costly rebuilding
• Fusion procures certified building products where available

Reuse:

• One of the key drivers for the establishment of the Store Floor Managed Storage Solution was the sustainability of our customers furniture assets whereby they are retained for reuse in the future rather than disposal as landfill
• Fusion Furniture Team can reuse furntiure products such as screens and chairs by refurbishing them; an example of this is the recovering of the fabric of chairs
• Many demolition materials can be retained for reuse - these include doors and door hardware, fittings etc.

Recycle:

• Aluminium and steel waste products are regularly recycled
• Demolition materials are recycled where possible
• Packaging waste from our Furniture Team (cardboard, plastic etc) is recycled where possible
• Packaging products procured by our Relocations Team are sought from recycled sources
